Weather Center 2020 to 2021

Surprisingly it is already almost 2021! Weather Center hopes you had a great Christmas and wishes you a happy new year. With this in mind, WC would like to cover a few things and look back in the past and see the greatest things of 2020!

WC 2020 Year Recap

While 2020 was a hard and very troubling year, there was still plenty of good. WC worked hard all year to grow and bring you the latest data you need. If you wish to support WC today, visit its MERCH page, DONATE, and/or SHARE WC with your friends!

Hurricanes

We had a record breaking year in 2020 with Hurricanes, with 30 named storms! With so many hurricanes we were able to learn more about them and NHC has made some more software and tech improvements to increase accuracy and warning time.

The list of 30 named storms that have occurred during the 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season as of November 24, 2020. The 2020 season surpassed 2005 as the busiest on record. The season officially ends November 30.
