Severe Weather is possible this Wednesday afternoon / evening. All threats are possible. Damaging winds and very large hail are the greatest threats. The tornado risk has increased due to more instability in the atmosphere. Several tornadoes are possible with some storms, but they won’t be widespread. Isolated strong tornadoes in some storms are possible though. Late afternoon and evening times will be the greatest threat. Not all of DFW will see one/or all of these threats (only roughly 50%), but most of DFW will see rain. WC expects a tornado watch to be issued for DFW and counties south of the metroplex around the afternoon hours. Stay weather aware.
