Severe weather is possible in DFW on Friday. DFW is under a Slight level 2 risk today due to a severe a storm potential. Large hail and damaging winds are the main threat. The DFW coverage has lowered due to new weather models indicating less severe weather for the DFW area. Not everyone will see severe storms. The main threat time will be 5-9 PM, but parts of DFW could experience storms as early as 2-5 PM. Stay tuned for updates and stay weather aware.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is already in effect for areas Northeast of DFW. Stay tuned for a possible watch for DFW later in the day.
