Severe Thunderstorm Watch 6/13/2023


A Severe Thunderstorm Watch was issued at 2:00 PM for parts of DFW and remains in effect until 9:00 PM today. DFW is currently experiencing severe storms with large hail-producer storms and DFW could continue to see severe weather as we go into the late evening hours and even overnight. The main concern is very large hail, but all threats are possible.

Storms will form in two rounds most likely. The 1st wave will be between 3-8 PM. The 2nd wave will come after midnight between 12-5 AM. Stay weather aware.

Severe Thunderstorm Watch

– Scattered large hail up to 3.0 Inches in diameter

– Scattered damaging wind gusts up to 70 MPH

– An isolated tornado is possible but not likely
