A cold front will move into North Texas from the Northwest around the evening hours this Sunday. With this cold front could come several severe thunderstorms which could be capable of producing damaging wind gusts up to 70 MPH and large to very large hail. The tornado risk is minimal to zero.
DFW time range for severe weather will be around 7 PM to midnight. Not everyone will see severe weather or even any storms this evening. WC currently has the severe weather threat coverage at 20%. Either way, still stay weather aware and keep an eye out for any severe weather watches that could be issued later today.
