DFW is giving that Summer heat lately! Each day this week will hit 99-101 degrees as its high in the afternoons! Heat index values also could reach as high as 109 in some areas of North Texas. A Heat Advisory was issued because of this in North Texas. Remember to stay hydrated and safe if you exercise outdoors!

Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water!

Avoid long periods outdoors!

Spend some time by fans or AC!

Wear loose fitting breathable clothes!

Above-average temperatures are expected for DFW (as seen in the 6-10 Day Outlook / 8-14 Day Outlook) due to a heat blob that is resting over the southern portion of the United States. Stay safe out there!
