Yes, I know it seems crazy, but North Texas could see some storms today. A couple of us could even see some severe weather.
While MOST of us will likely stay dry today, there is a potential for a southern moving wind storm to move into the East Texas area later this morning/afternoon. WC will monitor its position throughout the morning, but this storm complex is unlikely to hit the DFW metroplex.
Later tonight, isolated storms will likely develop up Northwest of DFW and potentially move into the North Texas area late tonight. Heavy rain, some gusty winds, and maybe some small hail could accompany some of these storms.
Again, most of DFW will still stay dry! WC only has the coverage for North Texas set to 20% on the weather model. Stay weather aware
