Hurricane Beryl was quite the storm. Below are a few preliminary stats about Beryl.

#beryl had a lifetime maximum sustained wind of 165 mph (Category 5), the strongest Atlantic hurricane before August on record.

#beryl had a lifetime minimum central pressure of 934 hPa, the third lowest for an Atlantic hurricane prior to August on record.

#beryl had the fastest 24-hour intensification rate for an Atlantic named storm this early in the year on record.

#beryl set the record for the strongest hurricane to make landfall in Grenada.

#beryl also produced over 102 tornado warnings yesterday across Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas with approximately 17 confirmed tornadoes. This is the most amount of tornado warnings ever issued in a 24 hour period in July on record.

Beryl set multiple records. Beryl won’t be forgotten about for quite some time.
