The Perseid meteor shower is one of the most anticipated celestial events of the year! The Perseids will peak tonight August 11-12 and also tomorrow night.
Peak Viewing Time: The best time to watch is from midnight to dawn, as the moon will set around midnight, providing dark skies.
Location: Look towards the constellation Perseus, which rises in the northeast around 11 p.m. local time.
Meteor Rate: Under ideal conditions, you might see up to 80-100 meteors per hour. Get into darker areas away from light pollution for the best chance to see the meteors!
