A Severe Thunderstorm Watch was issued at 8:55 AM for parts of northern DFW and remains in effect until 4:00 PM today. Most of DFW will most likely not see storms at all. The main threat of severe weather is far more east where there is a Moderate risk over easternly states due to a significant derecho threat. The main concern are just popup supercell storms here in the morning/afternoon hours for DFW. Coverage is <5% for severe weather at the moment. Stay weather aware
